India–Ireland T20 Series Set for June

Dublin: A T20 international series between India and Ireland is scheduled to take place in Ireland this June, serving as a preparatory assignment ahead of India’s white-ball tour of England. Matches are expected to be hosted at venues including Malahide in Dublin.

In parallel with the series announcement, Cricket Ireland confirmed a significant leadership change within the national side. Paul Stirling has stepped down as T20 captain following Ireland’s underwhelming campaign at the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup.

A permanent successor has yet to be named. In the interim, vice-captain Lorcan Tucker has been appointed as stand-in captain, while Harry Tector is also being considered for the role.
