India regains top spot in ICC Test rankings

India climbed to the top spot in the ICC Test rankings yesterday with a 3-1 victory over England in the Test Series.

India was in second place before the series against England, while New Zealand was in first with 118 rating points. However, India now tops the Test rankings with 122 rating points. Australia is third with 113 rating points and England is fourth with 105 rating points.

India also qualified for the final of the World Test Championship with a Test series win over England. India will take on New Zealand in the final to be held at Lord’s on June 18, 2021.
