“Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic Crowned Miss World in Mumbai Ceremony”

India recently hosted the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant, marking its return after a hiatus of 28 years. Contestants hailing from 115 countries vied for the prestigious crown in a dazzling event held at the Jio World Centre in BKC, Mumbai. The reigning Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska of Poland, gracefully passed on her title to the newly crowned winner, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic.

The grand spectacle was broadcasted live on SonyLIV and reached an extensive audience across more than 140 countries and territories worldwide. Representing India was 22-year-old Sini Shetty, the winner of the Miss India World pageant, who showcased her grace and talent on the global stage. Despite her commendable efforts, Sini Shetty secured a place in the Top 8.

Notably, Nita Ambani was honored with the prestigious Miss World Humanitarian Award during the event for her impactful contributions through the Reliance Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to various social causes. The award was presented to her by Julia Morley, CBE, the esteemed Chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation, recognising Ambani’s significant philanthropic endeavours.
