Local Firm RHS Home Care Unveils 490 Immediate Job Openings Amidst 2024 Expansion Surge
In a significant expansion move for 2024, RHS Home Care, a local not-for-profit cooperative operating in the West of Ireland since 1996, has announced 490 immediate job vacancies.
The surge in demand for its home support services has prompted the company to expand into counties Sligo and Leitrim, in addition to its existing services in Roscommon, Galway, and Mayo. Patrick Towey, the general manager, emphasised the company’s commitment to providing the highest standards of care to vulnerable individuals, allowing them to remain in the comfort and safety of their homes. The recruitment drive will span Roscommon, Mayo, Galway, Sligo, and Leitrim throughout 2024, with immediate vacancies ranging from 100 in Roscommon to a combined 150 in Sligo and Leitrim.
Towey highlighted the cooperative’s client-centred approach, focusing on quality care rather than financial gain, and emphasised RHS Home Care’s unique position as the only home care cooperative of its kind in Ireland. The company, having grown from training 30 individuals with start-up funding, now serves nearly 1000 clients across three counties.
