Met Eireann with heavy rain and flood warning

Met Eireann predicts heavy rain and wind in Ireland as the Covid pandemic spreads.

Met Eireann warns of heavy rains today and warns people to be extra vigilant.

According to the National Weather Service, it will continue to rain in Ireland in the coming days.

Met Eireann said the rains would subside in the south of the country in the afternoon but would intensify again in the southwest in the evening.

The threat of floods will continue till night as heavy rains are likely in the northern parts of the country. Meanwhile, it will continue to rain in northern Ireland till Tuesday but will ease overnight.

Met Eireann forecasts cold weather with temperatures ranging from 10 to 13 degrees on Wednesday and also there are chance of wind and isolated rain in the north and west.

They also said that Thursday is expected to be clear and cool as temperatures dropped.

Meanwhile, Met Eireann warns of heavy rain and wind again in Ireland over the weekend.
