Retail and hospitality software company CBE to add 25 jobs in Claremorris, Co. Mayo
CBE, the retail and hospitality software company, is set to create 25 jobs at its international head office in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. Following market research supported by Enterprise Ireland, the company is expanding its presence in the UK and venturing into new eurozone markets. Founded in 1980 by Gerard and Catherine Concannon, CBE has become one of Europe’s leading developers and suppliers of electronic point of sale technology. With installations across the UK, mainland Europe, Canada, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa, the company’s growth reflects the growing demand for innovative technology in the retail and hospitality sectors.
CBE reported a profit of €897,200 in the year ending April 2022, with a turnover of €17.9 million. The expansion is welcomed by the Irish government and Enterprise Ireland, highlighting Ireland’s prowess in the digital software solutions sector and its commitment to supporting local businesses in the west of Ireland.
