Revenue seizes 77kgs of herbal cannabis from Rosslare Europort

DUBLIN: Revenue seized 77 kilograms of herbal cannabis in a search at Rosslare Europort.

The drugs were found in an unaccompanied trailer which arrived yesterday from Cherbourg, France, during Rosslare search operation by revenue officers and gardaí.

The customs officers estimate the drugs are worth more than €1.5 million. Revenue officials inspected the trailer that arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg.

No arrests have been made so far and the investigation is ongoing.
