“Ryanair Unveils Ireland’s Top Ten Most Popular Flight Routes”

Ryanair has unveiled its top ten most popular routes departing from Ireland, with London Stansted claiming the top spot, closely followed by the renowned sporting hub of Manchester. London Stansted stands out as a pivotal destination, not only for UK tourists visiting Ireland but also for Irish travellers making the quick journey to the English capital.

Despite operating with just one runway, London Stansted manages to cater to over 27 million passengers annually, with a plethora of Ryanair flights serving the route on a weekly basis. From Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Knock, and Kerry airports, travellers can easily catch flights to Stansted, making it a bustling hub, particularly on weekends.

The United Kingdom maintains its dominance in the upper echelons of the list, with Edinburgh, Birmingham, and Liverpool securing the next three positions. Following suit, the list features warm-weather getaways such as Faro in Portugal and the sun-drenched Malaga in Spain, offering a contrast to the UK destinations.

Amsterdam and Alicante in Spain claim the seventh and eighth spots, respectively, while a surprise entry at number ten is Bristol. Known for being the hometown of the renowned artist Banksy, Bristol serves as a gateway to the western regions of England and even Wales. Moreover, with early bird flights priced as low as €14.99 each way, Bristol emerges as an enticing and affordable destination for travellers.

For budget-conscious travellers, Ryanair’s Fare Finder tool, available on their website under the “Plan” section, provides a convenient option. By inputting their budget and being open to various destinations, travellers can explore numerous affordable options, especially outside of peak travel seasons.

Ryanair is poised to announce its summer schedule, which is anticipated to introduce new routes such as Cork to Rhodes and Zadar, Croatia, expanding its network and offering travellers even more diverse destinations to explore.
