“SD Worx Ireland to Create 40 New Jobs with €2.9m Investment Over Two Years”

SD Worx Ireland is set to expand its workforce by adding 40 new jobs over the next two years, part of a substantial €2.9 million investment. The payroll technology firm, previously known as Intelligo, aims to grow its team to 115 employees by the end of 2025.

Driven by evolving legislation and procedures related to gender pay gap reporting, statutory sick pay, GDPR, and pension auto-enrolment, there is a heightened demand for automated solutions in payroll departments, particularly in companies operating across multiple jurisdictions.

Eimear Byrne, the country lead for SD Worx Ireland, emphasised the critical role of payroll and HR departments in employee satisfaction and wellbeing. With increasing emphasis on employee welfare from businesses and the government, there is a rising demand for SD Worx’s services to address these complexities.

The new roles will support the development of SD Worx’s MegaPay payroll software and expand capacity for the company’s customer base. MegaPay enables scalable payroll management and offers insights to HR departments to address issues such as gender pay gaps. Secure data storage on the SaaS solution allows integration with other company departments.

SD Worx, headquartered in Belgium, has been operating in Ireland for over a decade and acquired Intelligo in 2022. With a workforce of over 7,000 employees across 25 European countries, the company reported significant profit and revenue growth in 2022.

Intelligo Software Ltd, now part of SD Worx, reported net assets and cash reserves in its last accounts. Despite a loss for the year, the company’s strategic integration within SD Worx signals a positive trajectory for future growth and innovation.
