Sunshine Returns to Ireland After Storms, Met Éireann Forecasts 10 Days of Predominantly Clear Weather

Dublin — Following a period of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, sunshine has returned to Ireland, bringing a welcome change in weather conditions. The country had been under a yellow weather warning, but conditions have since improved, with Met Éireann forecasting predominantly sunny days for the next 10 days.

According to Met Éireann meteorologist Linda Hughes, the settled weather pattern is expected to continue through the remainder of the week and into the weekend, accompanied by increasingly warm conditions.

Forecast Overview

Today:
Temperatures will range between 20°C and 25°C, with the western regions experiencing the warmest conditions. The east coast will remain comparatively cooler. While most areas will stay dry, isolated showers may develop in the southwest by evening.
Tonight:
Conditions are expected to remain clear and dry, with nighttime temperatures dipping to between 7°C and 11°C.
Friday:
The sunny weather will persist, with daytime temperatures forecasted between 18°C and 22°C across the country. Eastern coastal areas will remain slightly cooler. There remains a slight chance of rain in the southwest.
