Vikas Gulati won Domino’s Manager of the Year Award……

Drogheda: Domino’s Pizza Company Manager of the Year Award for Indian Youth in Ireland. Domino’s, a well-known delivery company, has named Vikas Gulati, a 26-year-old Punjabi boy, Manager of the Year.

Vikas Gulathi has had a successful career, starting as a part-time delivery worker and working his way up to the position of manager at Domino’s. This achievement is compounded by the fact that he is the only company manager in the UK and Ireland to receive this accolade.

Vikas came to Ireland in 2008 as an MBA student from India. Meanwhile, he worked for a local food service company before joining Domino’s. Vikas joined the local Domino’s store in 2015 as a part-time driver. In 2016, he was promoted to assistant manager. The seven-year-long service mission of Vikas was not in vain. Vikas rose to become an area manager in charge of various Domino’s stores, including Drogheda and Dundalk.

Vikas saw the store as if it were his own. He worked day and night for the company. Special interventions were made to avoid any inconvenience to the customers. Meanwhile, he participated in numerous training programmes. Eight years of company life brought many pressures and adversities. Never disappointed. Vikas’ lifeblood is commitment, dedication, and honesty. Vikas says that the support given by his family has helped him a lot in his excellent work. Vikas said that he is very proud of this achievement.

The biggest challenge was during the COVID crisis. Years have passed. People’s reluctance to come to work was a big hurdle, but they managed to move forward successfully. Vikas believes that none of these achievements are personal. Working as a team, family support, and strong encouragement from management all contributed to success.
