French superstar Killian Mbabane tested Covid positive

The Covid pandemic is gripping the football world as well. French superstar Killian Mbabane has now tested positive for Covid-19.

Mbabane was tested positive during the UEFA inspection last day and with this, he will lose France’s Nations League match against Croatia. The player was also down for team training yesterday before Covid was confirmed.

The French Football association has said that the health status of Killian Mbabane is well and good and currently the player is in self isolation.

He is the fourth French national player who goes into quarantine because of Covid-19.

Meanwhile Mbabane’s PSG club is totally under the Covid clutches. He is the seventh PSG player to become Covid positive.

The club’s Brazilian superstar Neymar is one of the first positive players. Later the list began to grow as the Argentine players Angel Di Maria and Leonardo Paradise have also been diagnosed with the disease. This Covid cluster development has become a huge blow to the team.

It is reported that Mbabane will miss the first four matches of PSG in League One due to Covid.

League 1 rules that players who become Covid positive must stay in isolation for eight days.

In addition to Mbabane, Neymar and Di Maria have been ruled out of the first leg against Lens and it is expected that these changes will have a negative impact on the team’s performance.
