The Aer Lingus Future Pilot Programme presents an unparalleled career pathway for aspiring aviators. This comprehensive course integrates theoretical instruction and hands-on flight training, encompassing both aircraft operations and simulator simulations. Throughout the programme, candidates benefit from ongoing mentorship, guidance, and support provided by the Aer Lingus Cadet Liaison Pilot.
The programme entails an intensive 14-month training regimen conducted in collaboration with our esteemed partner flight training institution, FTE Jerez, located in southern Spain. Upon successful completion, participants return to Aer Lingus to undertake a type rating course specific to the Airbus A320 family of aircraft, marking the commencement of a fulfilling career as a pilot with Aer Lingus.
Given the limited number of available positions, competition for entry into the programme is expected to be intense. Prospective candidates are strongly advised to thoroughly prepare for all assessment stages.
