Ryanair Delays Switch to 100% Digital Boarding Passes Until November 12
Dublin: Ryanair has postponed its transition to fully digital boarding passes to November 12, moving the date from the previously announced November 3 to avoid the busy mid-term travel period.
Under the new system, passengers will no longer be able to print paper boarding passes and must instead use the myRyanair app for digital passes.
The airline said nearly 80% of its 206 million annual passengers already use digital boarding passes, leaving around 40 million still relying on paper versions.
Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer Dara Brady said the move will ensure a smoother transition and deliver a “faster, smarter, and greener” travel experience.
