British Tourist Dies Following Assault in Dublin’s Temple Bar

Dublin: A 40-year-old British tourist who sustained serious injuries in an attack in Temple Bar, Dublin’s city centre, has died in hospital.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, August 21, when the victim was assaulted in the popular nightlife district. He was initially treated at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin before being transferred to the UK for further medical care.

Despite extensive treatment, the man succumbed to his injuries on October 25.

Gardaí confirmed that a 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
