Glad News for ‘John Wick’ fans; Chapter 4&5 about to be shoot back-to-back

Covid-19 had held the mankind to their house by pushing every sector of living into a paralyzed state. The entertainment industry is also one of the most affected one as cameras stopped rolling and the clapboards became silent since the advent of the global pandemic.

Keanu reeves had light up the hopes of the industry as well as his fans by announcing the “John Wick 5” and also the release of “John Wick 4.”

The Lionsgate studio announced recently that both 4 and 5 of the John Wick sequels will be shoot back-to-back once the pandemic settles down.

Three sequels of the series have been released till the date. Joh Wick 1 was released on 2014, the initial movie itself was able to collect a USD 4 million in its domestic release.

The second chapter was released in 2017 with Keanu Reeves still in the lead role. The movie was able to bag USD 92 million.

Both these movies were able to create a huge fan base for ‘John Wick’ all over the planet. Thus, the third chapter was widely accepted and the fans were eagerly waiting for it.

By putting and end to the long wait in 2019 “John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum” was released and the movie collected USD 171 million domestically. The movie was able to make an impact worldwide.

John Feltheimer, the studio’s CEO announced “We’re also busy preparing scripts for the next two instalments of our John Wick action franchise, with John Wick 4 slated to hit theatres Memorial Day weekend 2022. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back when Keanu becomes available early next year.”

The fourth chapter of the sequel is scheduled to be released on May 27, 2022. The lead actor Keanu Reeves says that he was back for the movie because of Lana Wachowski’s beautiful script and the wonderful story.

“It’s been really special, and the story has, I think, some meaningful things to say, and that we can take some nourishment from,” said Keanu Reeves.
