Andy Murray to make Australian Open appearance through a wild card entry

MELBOURNE: Five-time Australian Open runner-up Andy Murray has returned to the world of tennis. He will make his second appearance at the 2021 Australian Open.

Murray competes in the Australian Open through a wild card entry. The injured player has been sidelined for the past few years. Murray is currently ranked 122nd in the world.

The Australian Open will take place from February 8 to 21. In addition to Murray, Australian Tanasi Kokkinakis is also competing in the wild card entry. Roger Federer’s absence from the tournament this time was a big disappointment to the fans.
