Covid for players; Italian and English leagues might face problem

The Italian football league is in crisis again, with 14 players and a staff member at the Genoa club has been tested positive for Covid-19.

Goalkeeper Matteo Perrin and midfielder Lasso Shawn also became Covid positive last week.

Genoa played Napoli on Sunday, and they lost the match by six goals. It is reported that the league matches may be stopped for two weeks as Covid has affected so many players.

10 players in the English Premier League were also Covid positive. The test results, which were conducted between September 21 and 27, have now been released.
