Etihad Airways Expands European Network with Additional Dublin and Prague Flights

Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways has announced plans to significantly expand its European network next summer, with increased services to Dublin and Prague. The move will enhance travel options for European passengers while strengthening connections to Asia, Australia, and the Indian subcontinent, as part of the airline’s strategy to boost both point-to-point and transfer traffic through Abu Dhabi.

From 29 March 2026, Etihad will increase its European flight frequencies, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global aviation hub and destination.

Dublin, one of Etihad’s longest-serving European gateways, will see a notable rise in capacity. Beginning with the Northern Summer schedule, flights on the Dublin–Abu Dhabi route will increase from 10 to 13 per week, before moving to a full double-daily service from 6 April 2026.

The route will be operated using a mix of Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, ensuring the continuation of Etihad’s premium cabin service. The airline marked its 15th anniversary of operations in Dublin in 2022, underlining the city’s importance within its European portfolio.
