Forecast from Met Eireann: Weather in Ireland will change from cold to warm in coming days

DUBLIN: Met Eireann predicts that the freezing cold conditions experienced in Ireland over the last few days will eventually disperse and that warmer weather will settle in Ireland.

It is predicted that the weather will be cold at night today and tomorrow, but will gradually warm up during the day. According to a Met Eireann forecaster, the mornings in these days will be cold with frost and will gradually clear under sunny spells.

Maximum temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees are forecast today and tomorrow in a light westerly or variable breeze, with some showers or outbreaks of rain also possible. However, high pressure will dominate the weather later this week, and Ireland will enjoy a more settled period with dry weather.

According to Met Eireann, temperatures will be “above average” from May 3 onwards. “Towards early May there are signals low pressure may be more dominant than normal bringing a risk of showery weather. Rainfall totals are forecast to be slightly above normal, whilst mean air temperatures are predicted to be a little warmer than average for May,” it said.
