Renowned Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker recently expressed her admiration for the charm of Donegal, particularly commending its “great pubs.” Having frequented Kilcar for three decades alongside her husband, Matthew Broderick, and their children, the star shared her fondness for Irish hospitality.
During an Instagram conversation with wine expert Kevin O’Callaghan about her upcoming wine launch in Supervalu stores, Parker revealed her family’s penchant for Irish potatoes during their stays. She also highlighted her visits to the Rusty Mackerel pub near Sliabh Liag, emphasising the allure of the local pub scene.
Parker, 58, reflected on the joy of savouring a glass of Guinness in the region, praising the unique “ceremony” surrounding the art of pouring pints. Delving into her appreciation for Irish cuisine, she remarked, “The ceremony around the way we cook in Ireland has absolutely affirmed my love for food and has changed my expectations of what I want when I come home.”
Her collection of red, white, and rosé wines available in Supervalu is distinctly marked with an ‘X’ on the label, offering enthusiasts a taste of Parker’s passion for wine.
