India Clinch Bronze at Men’s FIH Junior Hockey World Cup 2025

India secured the bronze medal at the Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup 2025 with a spirited 4–2 comeback win over Argentina in the third-place play-off in Chennai.

After trailing 2–0, the hosts mounted a strong final-quarter rally through goals from Ankit Pal, Manmeet Singh, Sharda Nand Tiwari and Anmol Ekka. Argentina had taken the lead with strikes from Nicolas Rodriguez and Santiago Fernandez.

The victory marked India’s return to the podium after two successive fourth-place finishes, capping a dramatic end to the tournament at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium.
