“IT.ie Expands, Doubling Workforce with 30 New Positions”

Irish-managed IT services firm IT.ie unveiled plans to double its workforce, creating 30 new positions over the next three years. This expansion, backed by a €2.5 million investment, will primarily focus on bolstering the company’s service delivery team across its Dublin, Cork, and Galway offices.

The new roles encompass various areas, including field engineering, cybersecurity, business development, helpdesk support, and sales and finance. Notably, the company is actively recruiting for positions in IT support, helpdesk support, and sales at its Galway and Dublin offices, with a particular emphasis on attracting graduates.

Founded in 2004 by Eamon Gallagher, IT.ie offers a range of IT support, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity services to clients globally, spanning regions such as the UK, France, Germany, Canada, and Australia. The company has experienced substantial growth, with revenues soaring by 42% annually since 2021, reaching €5 million in 2023 and projected to hit €8 million by 2025, largely fueled by client referrals, which constitute 75% of new business.

Eamon Gallagher, also the managing director, expressed enthusiasm for the company’s expansion plans, emphasising the commitment to adapt to evolving trends, threats, and innovations while maintaining an unwavering focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
