Dublin: The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) has announced that the deadline to renew your registration is January 31. Failure to renew by this date will result in the lapse of your registration, which is a legal requirement for all nurses and midwives practicing in Ireland.

- Annual Requirement: All practicing nurses and midwives must renew their registration annually, accompanied by the required renewal fee.
- Exemption for New Students: Student nurses and midwives who registered for the first time on or after September 1, 2024, are exempt from renewal until 2026.
