Dublin: The Met Office has warned of heavy rain and wind in Ireland. The weather forecast says that the weather will be mixed for the next few days, but good rain is also expected in the Dublin region on Sunday.
Met Eireann explained that westward air flow may dominate the country this week. Due to its location near the polar region, polar sea breezes and light tropical sea breezes are likely to blow alternately, which will bring a change in the weather.
Today will be mostly sunny and dry. At the same time, the sky will most likely be cloudy. The maximum temperature will range between 12 and 15 degrees. However, southwesterly breezes will pick up in the evening. As the cloudiness increases, there is a probability of rain on the west and north-west coasts. The rain will spread to other areas by nightfall. There will be severe winds as well. The minimum temperature will range between 8 and 12 degrees.
On Sunday, rain and wind will be prevalent over the country. In the north-west, conditions will be dry and clear. The maximum temperature will range between 13 and 15 degrees. Winds from the south will be moderate. By Sunday night, rain will be moving in from the southeast. The weather will thereafter be dry and clear throughout the night. Northwest winds will be from the northwest. The minimum temperature will range from 5 to 9 degrees.
Monday will be sunny and dry as well. Showers can be isolated as well. The maximum temperature will range between 12 and 14 degrees. Winds are also anticipated to blow from the west and northwest.
