Rijin Rajan was arrested by the Irish police in connection with the murder of Deepa
Rijin Rajan (41), who was arrested by the Irish police in connection with the murder of an Indian chartered accountant in Cork, Ireland, has been remanded in judicial custody by the Cork District Court till July 20.
Deepa Dinamani (38) was found stabbed to death in a rented house in the Wilton Cardinal Court residential area last Friday night. Her husband, Rijin Rajan, who was taken into custody at night, was arrested on Sunday morning after being interrogated on Saturday. Rijin Rajan will appear in court again via video conferencing on Thursday.
The Indian organisations in Cork have announced that they will work with the Indian Embassy to bring Deepa’s body home after the police procedures.
