‘Sur-Sargam Ireland’ to support children with special needs

DUBLIN: Sur-Sargam Ireland, a group that promotes Indian culture and art, is supporting a fundraising event organised by ‘Blossom Ireland’ for children with special needs in Ireland.

Blossom Ireland is a charitable organisation that supports young people with intellectual disabilities to be independent and active participants in their communities. The group provides some skills based training for such young people aged 14 and above to prepare for life as an adult. This includes bespoke support, advocacy and information for both the young person and their family during important transition periods in their life.

On behalf of Blossom Ireland, Sur-Sargam Ireland is holding a fundraising event today (February 20, 2021) as part of its “Swaraswati Puja and Basant Panchami 2021”.

Sur-Sargam Ireland’s online events, such as Pujo Pushpanjali, Bhog Nibedhan and Haathe-Khori, will take place today from 11.30 a.m. This will be followed by cultural events starting at 2 pm. The celebrity guest for the event will be P. C. Sorcar, Young, Indian magician based in Kolkata, West Bengal. He’s the third son of the famous Indian magician, P.C. Sorcar.

Sursargam Ireland is supporting Blossom Ireland charity through this event by organising a fundraiser. Funds will be raised via their secure donation platform, IDonate.
