The Irish Vs the English; Ireland plays England in a Three match ODI series

After hosting the West Indies test series, the England Cricket Board is all set to welcome the Irish team for a three-match ODI series.

The series will start on Thursday and all the three matches will be played at the Rose Bowl Southampton. England will be taking on the Irish men without the help of Ben Stokes, Joe Root and a few others.

In the absence of the senior bowlers, Tom Curran will lead England’s pace attack. Other players like Jony Bairstow, Jason Roy and Moeen Ali will join the England squad.

David Willy will also make a comeback into the national team. He was switched with Jofra Archer in the World Cup team.

There are known names in the Ireland team also. Players like Kevin O’Brien, Paul Striling, Boyd Rankin, etc. have much needed experience. The guests had played against the England Lions in a one-day game, in which they lost by seven wickets.

All three ODIs will start at 6:30 PM IST.
