WEATHER UPDATES: There is a chance of heavy fog; the country is on yellow alert
Dublin: A yellow alert has been issued by the Met across the country due to the possibility of heavy fog.
The warning issued at 11 p.m. last night has been extended until 11 a.m. today. The Met Office has advised motorists to exercise extreme caution on the roads due to the possibility of heavy snowfall in some areas.
A similar warning has been issued in Northern Ireland until 11 a.m. on Monday.
