Young Indian man died of COVID-19 infection in Ireland

WEXFORD: A young Indian man has died of COVID-19 infection in Benclody, County Wexford.

Solson Savier Payyappilly (34), son of the late Savier Payyappilly, a native of Perinthalmanna Thuvvur, Malappuram, Kerala, died at Wexford General Hospital yesterday evening. He has been on a ventilator since Saturday.

Solson Savier and his family, who had previously lived in Tallaght, Dublin, moved to Benclody, Wexford, two years ago.

Solson, a staff nurse, initially worked at the Harvey Nursing Home in Dublin. Later, he moved to Gorey, Co Wexford.

Mother: Mary Savier Payyappillil

His wife, Bincy Solson, is a member of the Menachery family. The couple has a son; Simeon Solson (3 years old).

Bincy was also COVID positive.
