Belfast has launched the Harlander, an autonomous electric shuttle operating in the Titanic Quarter. The free eight-seater service runs every 20 minutes on a one-mile loop between Titanic Halt Railway Station and the Catalyst tech campus until late September 2025.
Built by eVersum and powered by AI from Oxa, the shuttle uses radar, lidar, and cameras to navigate safely in all weather. A safety operator is always onboard.
Part of Belfast Harbour’s Smart Port strategy, the pilot aims to improve “last mile” connectivity. Passenger feedback during the trial will guide future rollouts across Northern Ireland.
