Aamir Khan will be the chief guest for Belfast Film Festival 2019

World-famous Indian actor and director Aamir Khan will be a guest of honors at this year’s Belfast Film Festival. The celebration, which will happen April 11-20, is to have Khan as a feature of the dispatch of a five-year ‘social decent variety in film’ venture.

Khan, an award-winning director, widely praised on-screen character, maker and TV moderator will make his first ever visit to the island of Ireland to go to the celebration.

His work consolidates probably the most generally observed excitement film in film history including comedies, for example, 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014), and the Oscar-designated Lagan (2001), which he featured in and produced.

Michele Devlin, director of the Belfast Film Festival stated: ‘The Belfast Film Festival’s tribute to Aamir Khan is the beginning of a striking new five-year investigation of social decent variety in film, which will incorporate Chinese, Polish and numerous different societies.

‘As a feature of this work we are enchanted to declare cooperation with the New York Indian Film Festival. Indian film – its fame, narrating, history, topics and ubiquity is an extraordinary beginning stage for this venture, and facilitating the brilliant Aamir Khan is an ideal start.’

Amid the celebration, Aamir Khan will take an interest in an ‘in discussion’ occasion in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on April 16.

Facilitated by Hindi film creator Nasreen Munni Kabir, the night will observe Khan’s group of film work and pay tribute to his helpful exercises.

With more than 100 occasions including more than 40 debuts, the full program will dispatch on Wednesday thirteenth March.
