Acuity to Create 100 Jobs in Cork with New Global Digital Centre
Cork: US industrial technology firm Acuity is set to create around 100 jobs over the next three years with the launch of its Global Digital Centre of Excellence in Cork city centre.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Acuity employs 13,000 people worldwide across its Lighting and Intelligent Spaces divisions. The new roles, supported by IDA Ireland, will span software engineering, AI, data, product management and leadership.
Minister Jack Chambers hailed the move as proof of Cork’s growing tech hub status, while IDA CEO Michael Lohan described it as a strong vote of confidence in Ireland’s innovation ecosystem.
Acuity CEO Neil Ashe said the Cork centre could eventually evolve into the company’s European headquarters, reaffirming commitment to growth despite global economic uncertainties.
