Business Platforms to Create 75 New Jobs in Cork Expansion

Dublin: Cork-based pharmaceutical consulting firm Business Platforms has announced plans to create 75 new jobs as part of a major expansion that will double its workforce by 2028. The roles will focus on consulting and engineering, with continued investment in its graduate MES engineer programme.

Founded in 2019, the company supports over half of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical firms and specialises in MES, serialisation, supply chain operations, and digital transformation.

To support its growth, Business Platforms will expand its Cork headquarters and has appointed Joe Lyons as general manager. Lyons brings over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical MES systems.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin welcomed the announcement, highlighting it as a boost to Ireland’s global leadership in pharma innovation. The move adds to a growing trend of tech and pharma job creation in Cork.
