Cannabis worth around €700,000 seized in Dublin

DUBLIN: Around €700,000 worth of cannabis was seized during a search in Dublin on Sunday.

Gardaí seized the drugs from a yard in the Crooksling area of Brittas at around 11am yesterday as part of Operation Tara.

The search was carried out by Garda Dog Unit, Regular Unit and Tallaght and Rathfarnham Divisional Drugs Units.

The drugs have been sent for forensic examination. Gardaí said no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
