Dublin: Cold weather is set to continue across Ireland into the New Year, according to Met Éireann, with largely dry conditions expected under the influence of high pressure.
Tuesday will bring generally cloudy conditions, with light rain or drizzle possible at times. Winds will remain light, mainly from the east to northeast, and temperatures are expected to range between 4°C and 8°C.
Met Éireann said the prevailing high-pressure system will help maintain relatively stable weather conditions as the country heads into the New Year.
