India Edge Past Australia by Four Wickets to Reach Champions Trophy Final

India booked their place in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final with a four-wicket victory over Australia in Dubai, ending their recent heartbreaks against the Aussies in major tournaments. Virat Kohli anchored the chase with a composed half-century, while KL Rahul provided the finishing touches after Hardik Pandya’s crucial 28 off 24 balls powered India to 267/6 in pursuit of 264.

Earlier, Mohammed Shami (3/48) led India’s bowling attack, supported by Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja, as Australia were bowled out for 264. Steve Smith top-scored with 73, while Alex Carey’s late fifty offered resistance.

India will face the winner of New Zealand vs. South Africa in the final on Sunday, aiming to lift their 2025 Champions Trophy title.
