AKS New release ‘Dhoomam’ is set to hit Irish theatres on June 23..
AKS are pioneers in Indian film distribution in Ireland and Europe, organising live concerts and distribution of Indian satellite channels across Ireland since 2005.
In this Venture they have always contributed a huge part to entertain the Tamil community in Ireland .This has played a vital role and has been instrumental in integrating this particular community.
AKS founder is Mr. Sivakumar Murugadoss, originally from Salem, Tamilnadu living in Ireland in the last two decades. He said to Irish Samachar that AKS family, we understand that movies & multimedia plays a major role in entertaining people, but looking at a wider picture AKS traders have always felt that they support younger Irish-Indian generations to learn and educate themselves of their origin , culture, religion , tradition & history when they live so far from HOME.
It is their belief which has made them continue their efforts to integrate the Tamil community in Ireland through these channels of entertainment.
Mr Sivakumar told to Irish Samachar, AKS are the first to premier Indian movies in Ireland, especially he remembered back in days there’s no Indian movies realised in Ireland. AKS amongst which the FIRST being “TAMIL LANGUAGE movies”
They are also the first to organise Indian concerts in Ireland which proved to be a huge success.
So far AKS as a successful business group, have contributed to the release of more than 250 movies & in the last year alone they have released 40 movies contributing to all Indian languages (Example RRR & KGF 2 -5 languages across each orners of Ireland)
PANDEMIC did not stop them .They made huge efforts to integrate the Indian communities through movies even at these toughest few years.
AKS have always played a significant part in entertaining people and is an essential facet that makes life enjoyable, especially integrating the Indian community in Ireland.

Dhoomam is an upcoming Malayalam film that will be released on June 23, 2023. Pawan Kumar directed the film, will feature Fahadh Faasil, Aparna Balamurali, Roshan Mathew, and Vineeth. Anu Mohan and Achyuth Kumar are two other well-known actors who have been cast in Dhoomam.
