Drogheda: The second edition of the All-Ireland football tournament organized by the Indian Association, Aliyans Drogheda, is scheduled to take place on the 7th of October at the Drogheda Stamullen St. Patrick GAA grounds.
The organising committee is diligently working on introducing several exciting innovations for this year’s competition, set to unfold in October. Teams, comprising six members each, will vigorously vie for supremacy on the field. Aliyans Drogheda is gearing up for a triumphant return to the realm of football.
In the thrilling contests of the previous year, the Dublin Strikers emerged as the ultimate winners, clinching the coveted trophy. Building on the success of the previous tournament, which witnessed the spirited participation of sixteen teams, Aliyans Drogheda is all set to embark on its second season.
Registration for the matches is already underway, and teams are encouraged to sign up promptly.
The champions of the tournament will be bestowed with a cash prize of five hundred euros along with a prestigious trophy, while the runners-up will be awarded three hundred euros and a trophy to commemorate their achievement.
