Circle K issues apology to customers after diesel put into petrol pumps

Dublin: A number of vehicles were replaced with diesel after being mistakenly loaded with petrol at the Circle K garage’s petrol pumps. Circle K apologised for the incident, but 87 vehicle owners jumped into trouble by running diesel. The incident occurred on the northbound lane of the N7 near the Kill North service station. The station’s petrol pumps were all filled with diesel. These petrol stations had been open for more than five hours. They realised their mistake and immediately shut down the pumps.

Circle K said that this is an isolated incident. The owners of the vehicles who had used diesel instead of petrol were identified by inspecting CCTV and sales data. Circle K has stated that they will do everything in their power to resolve the issues with their vehicles. According to the company, all claims related to this will be resolved as soon as possible. Circle K also stated that an investigation has been launched to determine how this occurred and to resolve the issue.

For customer complaints regarding this, call 087 1034125 or 01 2028768; Circle K can also be reached at 01 2028762 or 01 2028888.
