Cocaine worth €253,050 and heroin worth €2,400 seized; the 40-year-old will appear in court tomorrow

Cocaine worth €253,050 and €2,400 worth of heroin were seized last night from Dún Laoghaire apartment in Dublin.

Garda says members of the Dublin Metropolitan Area East Divisional Drug Unit have entered an apartment in a residential development around 9 pm.

After confirming his charge this evening, the 40-year-old was detained at Dún Laoghaire Garda station, and will appear in court tomorrow.

In addition to the drugs, a large quantity of narcotics was seized, including a large hydraulic press and mixing bowls.

The combined street value of the seized cocaine and heroin is estimated at €255,450 and have been sent for further analysis.
