Devotees of Vasavi Mata celebrated the Agni Pravesh Day with great fervor in Dublin @ IVT temple
Under the leadership of the Sri Vasavi Samaj Ireland, the 100+ devotees of Vasavi Mata and committee members gathered at the Vinayagar Temple in Kingswood to commence the event auspiciously. Initially, children and women gathered to conduct the special abhishekam for Vasavi Mata. First, children and then women, with devotion and faith, completed the ritual. Following this, the devotees adorned Vasavi Mata with various flowers and performed Lalita Sahasranama Parayanam, followed by a collective Kumkumarchana rituals.
The soulful renditions by Vishali Ramesh, Shruti M, and Anusha P, in the Vasavi Mata Geetalapanam enchanted the devotees. All Women’s contributed to the worship by offering traditional prayers, acknowledging and honoring our cultural traditions. Ankita Garu, who eloquently conducted the event, ensured smooth coordination of all aspects of the programme.
The day continued with the recitation of selected passages from the Vasavi Puranam, translated into English by Chiranjeevi Lakshmi Hasini, offering the devotees deeper insights into Vasavi Mata’s life and teachings. The devotees were deeply moved by the remembrance of Vasavi Mata’s name. Children and adults alike joyfully participated in the tradition of dressing in ethnic attire, making the day a truly joyous occasion for Vasavians in Ireland.
Special gratitude was extended to the chief guests, the temple secretary and director, Balakrishnan & Family, who honored the event with their presence. Balakrishna Garu commended the Vasavi Samakhya team for organizing such divine events at IVT. On the other hand, key member and SVSI President, Mr. Narendra Kumar, passionately spoke about how society should embrace Vasavi Mata’s life lessons and the importance of dharma. The attendees, both present in person and virtually, expressed their heartfelt appreciation.
Finally, all participants enjoyed the prasadam provided by Biryaniwala Restaurant, thanks to the efforts of the committee members, Shiv Kumar V and Navin Santosh, along with the Sevadal members Ganga Prasad, Lavanya, Santosh P, Srinivas, Satish, Manik, and Sravan. The event concluded with thanks to everyone for their participation and cooperation, making it a grand success under the careful management of the committee.
