Dublin Zoo reopens to public from today

DUBLIN: The Dublin Zoo reopened to the public today after being closed for months due to COVID-19 restrictions. It opens after the government eases COVID restrictions from today. The website was down yesterday due to a huge rush to book tickets in advance.

Special one-way traffic arrangements have been made for the journey to the zoo in view of COVID-19. Visitors can reach the Dublin Zoo via the outdoor and one-way sidewalks, strictly following the social distance. Passes are required for admission.

There has been no major change in the animal’s routine over the past few months. They have certainly noticed that there are less people around. It is hoped that the public’s return will give them a boost, said the Dublin Zoo.

Internal animal houses and playgrounds are not open. They will only open after further notice.
