Covid confirmed to FIFA President Gianni Infantino. Infantino was tested after seeing symptoms. He was admitted to a ten-day curfew on Tuesday night after being diagnosed with the disease.

FIFA has said that those who have been in contact with Infantino in the next few days should isolate themselves and observe properly.

The 50-year-old made very few trips as the Covid outbreak intensified. Last month, Infantino attended a historic agreement between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain at the White House.

However, FIFA officials said that he had contracted the disease from his native Switzerland. FIFA also wished for his speedy recovery through the statement.
