FileCloud to create 50 new jobs in Limerick

LIMERICK: US-based file sharing and content collaboration software provider FileCloud to create 50 new jobs in Limerick. FileCloud is to open a headquarter for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Limerick, as well as a research and development centre.

The new roles will be in areas such as development, operations and support, research and development, sales and marketing and general administrative support. These roles will come on stream over the next two and a half years.

FileCloud, a privately owned company, was founded six years ago and is headquartered in Austin, Texas. The company already has offices in the USA, Brazil, Dubai, India, and the Philippines.

It claims to have millions of customers in 90 countries around the world, both individual users as well as over 3000 small, medium and large companies and other organsiations.

FileCloud’s decision to establish its EMEA HQ and R&D Centre in Limerick was welcomed by the IDA chief executive, Martin Shanahan. Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Trade & Employment Leo Varadkar who said it was great news for Limerick.
