Finland ranks first in terms of happiness, leaving behind all countries in the world

New York: Finland is the happiest country in the world, surpassing all other countries. For the sixth year in a row, this country has been named the happiest in the world. According to the World Happiness Report, Finland is the happiest country in the world. This report was released on the occasion of World Happiness Day.

Denmark is ranked second. Iceland comes in third place, followed by Israel, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Austria, Australia, and Canada. The United States is ranked 15th. Ireland was ranked 13th in the last report. The United Kingdom is ranked 19th. Germany and Belgium came in 16th and 17th place, respectively.

Ireland is ranked 14th in this category. Ireland’s happiness has dropped one point from the previous report, which ranked it 13th. According to the World Happiness Report, Afghanistan and Lebanon are the world’s unhappiest countries. Sierra Leone ranks third in terms of unhappiness.

Since 2012, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, a non-profit organisation affiliated with the United Nations, has been publishing the World Happiness Report. The level of happiness in the country was calculated using six criteria: GDP per capita, available social support, life expectancy, freedom, liberalism, and corruption.

The World Happiness Report for this year is based on data from 2020 to 2022. The report said 2022 was a year of crises, citing the ongoing war in Ukraine, COVID, inflation, and the climate emergency.
