Gardaí seized €170,000 from a house in Dublin

Gardaí seized €170,000 as cash following recent searches in Dublin today.

The money was found through a search conducted by the Dublin Metropolitan Region’s north divisional drugs unit.

The search was carried out in wo houses in Ballymun and a house and separate stable yard in the north county Dublin area.

The operation was a part of ‘Operation Tara’ and it was done with the assistance of the divisional search team and dog unit from Customs Dublin Airport.

As a result of the search and money seizure, a man in his 30s was arrested. He was charged and detained in Ballymun Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
