In eight years, petrol and diesel cars will become obsolete as people go electric: Report

If you are planning to buy your dream car targeting long run, you may better rethink your idea now. What awaits the automobile industry is a big revolution in which all current petrol and diesel powered vehicles go obsolete, says a report by an expert.

Professor Tony Seba, who is an economist at the Stanford University predicts that all vehicles will be electric by 2025 and that people will stop driving altogether.

Withing eight years, petrol and diesel cars will disappear from the roads, and electric powered cars will overpower the existing fuel-charged machines, as predicted by Professor Seba.

The sudden switch to self-driving electric cars will help the motorists to save money, which will cause the complete collapse of the oil industry.
