Ireland leaps to the top of the world despite the Global Pandemic

Mumbai: Despite the Pandemic recession, Ireland is leaping to the top of the world.

The Ireland has increased its brand value, surpassing the 19 most powerful nations in the world. Ireland is one of the top 20 countries in terms of brand value growth.

Ireland’s brand value rose 11 per cent to $ 670 billion. According to economists, this is evidence of a strong export and consumer economy.

The United States and Japan are relieved to be able to maintain brand value despite the losses. However, the U.S. lost 14.5 percent, trailing Ireland by $ 23.73 trillion.

China’s value fell 3.7 percent to $ 18.76 trillion, according to a report by Brand Finance, a brand evaluation and strategy consultancy. Japan lost 6% of its value and came in third with $ 4.26 trillion. Germany is in fourth place ($ 3.81 trillion), down 21.5%.

The top 100 national brands will lose $ 13.1 trillion in their brand value by 2020 due to the devastating epidemic. According to the report, the top 10 most valuable brands have dropped to an average of 14%.

The report says that the pandemic disaster did not relatively affect Japan.

At the same time, Argentina’s brand value fell sharply. Argentina lost 57% of its value. Argentina is the second most affected country after the United States.

In terms of national brand power, Germany is the best country brand in the world with a score of 84.9 out of 100. Britain is 83. India is the seventh most valuable country brand in the world. Brand value fell 20.8 percent to $ 2.02 trillion.

The total brand value of the top-100 country brands in 2019 was $ 98 trillion. By 2020, the report estimates, it will fall to $ 84.9 trillion.
