Kilcock Indian Community wins first prize in St Patrick’s Day Parade

In this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Kilcock, the first year that the Kilcock Indian community participated, the Kilcock Indian Community made its presence known to the people of Kilcock by winning first place in the Non-Commercial Float category in a parade in which approximately forty floats competed. St. Patrick’s, Mahabali, Thiruvathira, Pulikali, and Bharatnatyam performed by the Natyangana School of Dance were a very special experiences for the people of Kilcock. The presence of Indian community members from various states of India dressed in Indian costumes added colour to the parade. Organisers said that this is an example and success of the unity and solidarity of Indian society.
